Catherine Zahrn has been dancing for over 25 years. She earned a M.F.A. in Dance from the University of Hawaii and a B.A. in Dance and Psychology from Sweet Briar College in Virginia. She has appeared in many performances, including working with Iona Pear and Tau Dance Theatre in Honolulu and The Warehouse Collective and Athens Ballet Theatre in Athens, Georgia. She was formerly on the dance faculty of the University of Georgia, where she taught modern and jazz. Since moving to Austin in 2006, Catherine has enjoyed teaching Music and Creative Movement at Open Door Preschool. Catherine's patience and respect for children make her a warm and nurturing teacher.
