Rae D. Flores began her early training in Victoria Texas with Debbe Busby and continued there as a member of The Victoria Ballet theatre from 1984-1990. She has done summer studies with the Houston Ballet Academy, Texas Christian University and studied with Jorge Cano from the Mexico City Ballet. Upon moving to the Austin area she continued her studies as a member/dancer of Austin Contemporary Ballet, working under Randall Soileau and Stanley Hall. During her career she performed with Victoria Ballet Theatre, Austin Contemporary Ballet and Southwest Texas State University in performances such as Nutcracker, Les Sylphides, Giselle, Swan Lake, and Coppelia to name a few. Rae holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Tampa and has 15 years teaching experience working with youth. She and husband Marco reside in Austin with their two children, Lily Ana, 5, and Gavin, 3.
