Tuition and Fee Information for Fall through Spring Classes

Tuition
Tuition in the 9 month school year is based on the total number of class hours taken per week, which excludes all scheduled holidays listed below.  There are no refunds or adjustments due to absences, however, make-ups are available for most classes. Tuition can either be paid in full or in monthly installments. Tuition is prorated for those who start after the first instance of the class she or he is registering for.

Dance Discovery has a paperless all-electronic payment system requiring either a credit card or checking account to set up automatic monthly payments that run at 12:01am on the first of every month. Installment payments require the registration fee and a down payment and scheduled monthly  payments. Monthly tuition is the same regardless of the number of classes in a given month; tuition in holiday months covers extra days in other months. A $30 service fee may be applied to accounts for processing declined, unfunded, or rejected payments.

Registration Fee
Each family pays an annual $48 registration fee upon registration of the first child. $35 of the fee is waived if tuition is paid in full, request "lump sum tuition" in the comment box at the bottom of on-line registration.

Spring Recital and Costume Fees
Dance is a performing art and the recital is an important culmination to the curriculum; preparing for the recital developmentally builds confidence through an exciting cooperative effort. Preschool level classes (3yrs +) perform at the theater and Toddler classes perform in the studio. All students are required to purchase a costume, and Preschool age (3yrs) and over dancers are charged a performance fee. The costume fee for Toddlers is $40 and the Preschool and above is $55 for each class. The performance fee is $75 for all dancers 3 yrs and up. (The maximum performance fee charge for a family is two students.) Costume fees are non-refundable and are charged on October 1 or upon registration after October 1. The performance fee is charged on March 1, 2012.

Satisfaction Guarantee
If for any reason you are not satisfied, you may contact our Central Office at 419-7611 and request that your child be withdrawn from class.  If you have already paid tuition for that month you will be refunded for classes not attended 7 days after notification was given. Refunds may take 30 days.
